Several of one Zellhoefer family (or maybe they were from
two families?) relocated from Bavaria to Rome, Sullivan Township,
Jefferson County, Wisconsin. This map, although recent, can be
helpful in tracking here, and in getting a better "picture" of
life in the mid-1800's here. |
Sullivan Township 1880 |
Sullivan Township (6 miles square), Jefferson County,
Wisconsin. 'Twas here the last Zellhoefer's migrated from Bavaria
1844-1853. The little town of Rome and the Riverview cemetery are
located here.
